一個設計定案到量產之間，其實充滿了許多變數，很多得獎的作品送審時是完美的模型，但一量產常常就走了樣，設計真的需要很多的溝通和堅持，才能讓提案儘量維持原設計量產。尤其到後來還要把那些雜七雜八的安規貼紙藏起來，花了不少心力做跨部門的協調，聽說最近賣得還不錯，甚至繼續延伸出好幾個後續機種，總算覺得蠻心慰的。

雖然這一個設計案靈感來自於中國漆器，但不花俏的設計，讓簡潔的線條自然帶出純淨的美感，其實道理也像探戈：每一步看似簡單，卻能震懾人心。

BenQ Slim Plate is a 24” energy-saving LED monitor designed for consumers who care about eco issues but meanwhile look for trendy lifestyle. Designers are inspired by Chinese lacquer-work and turn traditional craft art into fashion goods to create cross-time elegance. Monitor base has the shape of a round plate, coated with blackness to reflect Oriental peace and beauty. Simplicity is the main principle for this product; with thin column and LED panel, the feather-weight design can be highlighted.

BenQ V2420 係 針對注重環保節能，同時又講求時尚品味之消費者所設計的24吋LED液 晶螢幕。設計團隊特別從中國漆器取得靈感，粹取其精神，將黝黑透晰的 圓盤轉化為時尚潮流，呈現出一種橫跨古今的典雅造形。
