Our May classes will be announced in April. Please remember to check our website later http://felipeysandra.blogspot.com . Thank you!
My first encounter with Javier and Andrea was in 2007 when they first visited Hong Kong. In the beginning, I was mesmorized by their clean and elegant movements, and by Andrea's fiery adornos and footwork. In my first series of group classes with them, I was in some ways inspired and moved by what they said, which I still remember till today:
It was the last Group Class of Taipei Tango Festival 2009. We have just learnt an exercise where the man does a lapiz & enrosque, while leading the woman to do front ochos with embellishment. After trying the movement out for several songs, the maestros asked us to gather around. A question was raised on how the pivot of the enrosque is initiated, and the maestro gave an interesting answer:
Many ppl know I love the style of Javier/Andrea, and I took lots lessons from them from 3 years ago, group classes or private ones. Of course, the lessons I took from them are few than Gustavo Lin. But I think I could still claim I am one of ppl who most knowing their style. This year, I took all of classes of Javier/Andrea as usual.
I have danced tango for more than 6 years. Comparing some other ppl in Taipei, I still like a kid starting tango. But here wanna share some idea for tango babies who like them.
